Hi everyone!
For the youth that are interested in the Finance Workshop session, OVYAC will be hosting 3 more sessions for the 2022-23 school year! Here is the schedule:
- March 18: How to Make a Budget (and use a checkbook)
- Location: Oro Valley Public Library
- Time: 2-3 p.m.
- April 22: How to Pay for College
- Location Oro Valley Public Library
- Time: 2-3 p.m.
- May 6: How to Think Like a Businessperson
- Location: Oro Valley Council Chambers
- Time: 2-3 p.m.

Membership Criteria
Applicant must be a full-time student who will be attending a high school or home school program within the attendance boundaries of Oro Valley and who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2024 fall semester. Applicants may also live within Oro Valley town limits if attending a high school outside the boundaries.
Monthly Commitments include…
- Attending one (1) meeting per month between the months of August and May (meetings are approximately 1 hour long)
- They currently occur once every month on Monday nights starting at 7 p.m.
- In addition to meetings, members will be expected to attend YAC-organized events, in order to work towards achieving our goals and mission.

Oro Valley YAC is working with the Government of Oro Valley to bring the bands of Oro Valley to perform in front of an audience and even have a chance to professionally record a song! If you are interested in this event, gather your band buddies and send your song to [email protected].
